The area also boasts wonderful farmers' markets with fresh fruit and vegetables. But, that isn't all. Nearby, you can explore trails and bike paths or hunt and fish. The campground is just 14 miles from Mount Airy, N.C. (home of Andy Griffith) and its many festivals and concerts.

Stay with us at the campground and sit by the fire, fish in the pond, try the pedal boats, enjoy the many varieties of birds and just relax. Enjoy the clubhouse with a big-screen TV for movie night as well as planned activities. We know the value that a family campground provides to vacation and leisure time. We are dedicated to our campers, and the quality of life in our campground is our priority.

A beautiful Guest Cottage is located just 1/2 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 190, and perfect for a honeymoon, celebrating anniversaries, birthdays or just giving your time and attention to that special person in your life. Waking up to 32 acres of woodland beauty and green pastures will create opportunities for you to really connect with nature, and revive your soul in a way that you could only dream about. It is a complete getaway into nature, where you will have the opportunity to escape life's chaos and experience a renewing peace, while still having the comfort of the cozy cottage. Specialty breakfasts are included and may consist of items such as Hot Brandy Apple Tart; Baked Blueberry Oatmeal with Brown Sugar,Slivered Almonds and Pecans and English Breakfast Cake With Hot Buttered Rum Sauce. Breakfast is served in the country elegant dining room of the main house. A bottle of Chateau Morrisette wine is included with your stay. Accomodations can be made for pets for a nominal fee. Pets are not allowed inside the Guest Cottage. Pastries made here on the farm are served along with coffee and tea in the cottage.

Fish at the pond. Fishing equipment is provided and a pitcher of Sweet Tea or Lemonade (your choice) is included. Our local Rap's Orchard Gap Soda Shop delivers sandwiches right to the pond!

New Beginnings is located only 2 miles from Olde Mill Golf Course,19 miles from Chateau Morrisette and Horseback riding is available in the area. We will be happy to make your reservations for you.
